Drawing Room at Hawey House

Hawley House prides itself on being an easily accessible, yet isolated 'place apart', making a perfect and exclusive conference venue. Hawley regularly hosts business conferences, government meetings and executive retreats. Conferences, Functions and meetings are catered for up to 30 delegates, other functions, seminars and workshops can seat over 100 attendees, with option to source external catering of your choice.

MEETING SPACES

DRAWING ROOM

With its impressive 14 foot ceilings, an enormous bay window overlooking the sea, a large fireplace and a concert grand piano, either can be set up for casual discussions or replaced by formal U-Shaped set up for up to 25 delegates.
 

ALL CREATURES CHURCH

The All Creatures Church (c.1878) is situated in a picturesque glade 100 metres away from the house. The windows provide ideal natural light, and the space is ideal for theatre-style presentations or lectures, for as many as 50 delegates.
 

CONSERVATORY COURTYARD

The sandstone paved courtyard on the north of the house is covered by a airy permanent roof. The conservatory can seat up to 120 people on round tables, or for informal workshops and team-building activities, thespace is entirely flexible in how it can be set up.
 

DINING ROOM

The main dining room has the capacity to seat up to 30 delegates on one large table.

BOUTIQUE ACCOMMODATION

TAILORED CATERING

Small groups up to 30 are catered for in-house using the freshest available ingredients and prepared on the premises.

Lunches, Morning and Afternoon Teas are served outdoors one of the sheltered lawns, weather permitting, or in the stately Drawing Room. All inclusive quotes are tailored to your requirements, please contact us for more information.

  • Larger events can choose an external caterer of your choosing- we can give you recommendations.  We can seat up to 150 guests in the conservatory which is a magical setting.

Tour Groups - whether it be a heritage tour, garden tour, golfing holiday, vintage car club or wildlife safari tour, for bus groups or a relaxing private holiday to play a few rounds of golf with friends, Hawley is the perfect place to base your Tasmanian tour!
